Our plantable seed embedded paper is crafted using locally sourced recycled paper. It is a meaningful contribution to the environment as it transforms discarded paper into a distinctive and textured piece, celebrating its imperfections.
The creation of handmade paper is a meticulous and time-consuming process, involving the development of a precise pulp recipe, as well as the careful couching and pressing of each sheet. This artisanal approach ensures that every sheet is crafted with utmost care.
When the paper pulp is prepared, a symphony of seeds is gently woven within. The choice of seeds can vary depending on the desired plants or flowers. Common choices include wildflowers, herbs, or vegetables. The seeds are evenly dispersed throughout the pulp to ensure they are spread out when the paper is formed.
